‘Nightfields’ is an audiovisual installation developed in collaboration with composer and sound artist Graeme Truslove.
The work explores how motion derived from natural forces can shape relationships between sound and image. Using motion tracking data generated from footage of leaves moving in the wind, these subtle patterns are translated into both visual animation and audio events, producing a continuously shifting audiovisual texture.
The piece was exhibited at GAMEC, Bergamo, as part of xCoAx 2016, an international conference exploring computation, communication, and aesthetics.
